
Christopher Kang MD
Dr. Kang was born and raised in South Korea and received his medical degree at Seoul National University. After earning his degree in 1980, Dr. Kang came to the United States and completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Luke’s Hospital, affiliated with Washington University in St. Louis. He practiced in the St. Louis area as the Corporate Medical Director of Inpatient Management Incorporated (IMI) until his move to Atlanta in 2008. He was the Chief of the Hospitalists Group at DeKalb Medical Hillandale before opening Health1Care Medical Center. He continues to have hospital privileges at DeKalb Medical Hillandale, and is also proud to be a part of the Emory Healthcare Network. Dr. Kang’s dedication to the medical profession extends to his personal life; he goes on a medical mission trip every year to a country in Latin America, Africa or Asia, in order to provide care for some of the most in-need populations in the world.
